The 2009 OC Blogger Ball hosted by The Glamorous Life Association, Marcy Massura, and Hilton Anaheim was a huge success! The event took place on August 1st in Mix Lounge at Hilton Anaheim.
50 of the best Bloggers from around Orange County gathered to share stories, meet the face behind their favorite blog and experience a taste of Mix Restaurant. This was the first visit to Hilton Anaheim since the renovation for many of the Bloggers and there was a lot of talk about the beautiful $70 million dollar makeover.
Carlos Acosta, Director of Food & Beverage and Hollie Eisenman, Hilton Anaheim’s blogger, were the Hilton Anaheim Hosts. Guests were live-blogging and raving about the delicious food prepared from Mix Restaurant. The menu included:
- Natural Beef Sliders with Caramelized Onions
- Cobb Salad Shaker
- Pickled Water Melon with Ahi Tuna
- Shrimp Shooter with Gazpacho Salsa
- California Cheese Tray
Carlos gave a quick introduction to Mix Restaurant & Lounge at Hilton Anaheim. Mix offers an extensive and intricate variety of imaginative dishes and signature cocktails and utilizes some of the finest organic and natural ingredients from the region.
Marcy Massura deserves a big Thank you for hosting and planning this event. Everything went off without a hitch and it was great to connect with so many people face-to-face.

Still dreaming about that California cheese plate. Mmmm.
Just wished the beds weren’t so darn comfortabl–we had such big plans to enjoy the pool and check out a movie in our room but we slept instead!

The food was amazing and the hotel is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for hosting us. I did not have the opportunity to stay overnight but plan on doing that soon. I also can’t wait to go back and have some delicious Cobb Salad!
