Today @ Hilton Anaheim

On Thanksgiving Day, Hilton Anaheim team members volunteered at the Honda Center with the We Give Thanks Foundation, to serve free meals to those in need. There are over 100,000 homeless people in Orange and Los Angeles counties and 341,000 Orange County residents have an annual family income of less than $20,000. Together on Thanksgiving Day, over 20,000 people were able to sit down and enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.

“THANK YOU to the 30+ managers, team members, friends and family members who came out on Thanksgiving Day to serve as volunteers at the We Give Thanks Event held at the Honda Center!

Several board members including the CEO of the We Give Thanks Foundation made several comments throughout the afternoon about how much they appreciated Hilton Anaheim’s continued partnership – from serving food to opening up our kitchens so they could cook 200+ turkeys at the last minute.

On the day of the event it was wonderful to view the sea of “Brown Hilton Anaheim” t-shirts at every volunteer station working so hard to give to others in the community.  This was a record year for the foundation as they served 20,000+ local residence a Thanksgiving Feast to remember.
